 The Economic Community of Central African States ( ECCAS ; French : Communauté Économique des États de l'Afrique Centrale , CEEAC; Spanish : Comunidad Económica de los Estados de África Central , CEEAC; Portuguese : Comunidade Económica dos Estados da África Central , CEEAC) is an Economic Community of the African Union for promotion of regional economic co-operation in Central Africa .  The Intergovernmental Authority on Development ( IGAD ) is an eight-country trade bloc in Africa . It includes governments from the Horn of Africa , Nile Valley and the African Great Lakes . It is headquartered in Djibouti . Map of East Africa     The East African Community ( EAC ) is an intergovernmental organisation composed of eight countries in East Africa . The member states are the Democratic Republic of the Congo , the Federal Republic of Somalia , the Republics of Burundi , Kenya , Rwanda , South Sudan , Uganda and Tanzania . [5] Salva Kiir Mayardit , the president of South Sudan, is the current EAC chairman. The organisation was founded in 1967, collapsed in 1977, and was revived on 7th July 2000. Who are the Ndau people

  The Ndau are an ethnic group which inhabits the areas in south-eastern South Africa . The name "Ndau" means Land. Just like the Manyika people in northern Manicaland, their name Manyika also meaning "Owners of the Land", the name Ndau means Land. E.g "Ndau yedu" meaning "our land" When the Ngoni observed this, they called them the Ndau people, the name itself meaning the land, the place or the country in their language. Some suggestions are that the name is derived from the Nguni words "Amading'indawo" which means "those looking for a place" as this is what the Gaza Nguni called them and the name then evolved to Ndau. This is erroneous as the natives are described in detail to have already been occupying parts of Zimbabwe and Mozambique in 1500s by Joao dos Santos.   The Shona people ( / ˈ ʃ oʊ n ə / ) are a Bantu ethnic group native to Southern Africa , primarily living in Zimbabwe where they form the majority of the population, as well as Mozambique , South Africa , and a worldwide diaspora. There are five major Shona language/dialect clusters: Manyika , Karanga , Zezuru , Korekore , and Ndau.  

Who are the Sena people

  The Sena people are a Bantu ethnolinguistic group with origins in northwestern region of Mozambique , Sofala Province and Zambezia Province . [1] [2] They are also found in Malawi [3] and Zimbabwe near their respective borders with Mozambique. The Sena people's total population is around 2 million. It is estimated to be about 1.4 million in Mozambique, [4] and about 0.5 million in Malawi. [5] The Sena people in Malawi and Zimbabwe arrived from Mozambique and settled there in early 20th century as migrant laborers. [1] [3] They speak the Sena language , [6] also called Chisena or Cisena, which is part of the Bantu language family. [4] [5] The Sena language has many dialects.  

Who are the Makonde people

  The Makonde are an ethnic group in southeast Tanzania , northern Mozambique , and Kenya . The Makonde developed their culture on the Mueda Plateau in Mozambique. At present they live throughout Tanzania and Mozambique, and have a small presence in Kenya . [7] The Makonde population in Tanzania was estimated in 2001 to be 1,140,000, and the 1997 census in Mozambique put the Makonde population in that country at 233,358, for an estimated total of 1,373,358. The ethnic group is roughly divided by the Ruvuma River ; members of the group in Tanzania are referred to as the Makonde, and those in Mozambique as the Maconde .
